Evenings of Recollection: The next Evening of Recollection will be held at St. John’s on Thursday, March 22nd from 6:30-8:00pm. The Spiritual Exercises is the topic for the night. This Recollection evening will be part of the 40 Hours Devotion. Silent adoration and confession will continue after the meditation.
Spring Bible Study - Jesus: The Suffering Servant (Book of Mark) A Threshold Bible Study that is a dynamic, informative, and an inspiring way to enter into a deeper relationship with God through Scripture. This Bible study will begin on Tuesday, April 17th at 6:30pm and will run 6 weeks. It will be held in the Bride’s room of the Church. Cost of the study book is $15.
40 Hours Devotion coming soon! Next weekend you will have an opportunity to sign up for an hour of Adoration. Sign-up sheets will be found in the entranceways of Church. Along with Adoration will be the opportunity for confession and a meditations given by Fr. Martin.
It is not too late to purchase your copy of the Diocesan Sesquicentennial Book: To commemorate the 150th anniversary of our Diocese a full color 400 plus page hardcover book depicting all the parishes in our diocese is available for $33.00. This book is everything it promised to be. To get your copy come to the parish office between 9:00am and 4:30pm Monday through Friday. All checks should be written out to St. John’s. Cash is also accepted. Please, if possible, bring the exact cost of the book.
