O Thank you to everyone who attended our presentation about our trip to Tanzania this summer! We are starting a monthly series on the kiosk and on the Website, focusing on all that we learned during our two weeks with the Sisters of Our Lady Queen of Africa. A different topic roughly each month, including infrastructure challenges, life with the sisters, views of Divine Mercy Convent, university life in Mwanza, travel to Sumbawanga, the mother house, St Theresia's Girls' School, St Martin de Porre's Orphanage, gardening in Tanzania, and more!

DIVINE MERCY CONVENT IS COMPLETED
A Letter of Gratitude to St. John Baptist Parish, Marshfield, WI, USA
May Jesus Christ be praised Very gratefully, on behalf of the Sisters of our Lady Queen of Africa, am Writing to express our immense appreciation for your generous donation of $112,802.70 that enabled the construction of the Sister's home-Divine Mercy Convent to its final stage. With other donors, this enormous donation has greatly facilitated the extension of the sister's mission from Sumbawanga to the Archdiocese of Mwanza. The true gift of listening to the Holy Spirit and understanding our financial constraints resulted into unprecedented outpouring of generosity from different corners of St. John the Baptist Parish, Within and Outside the Archdiocese of La Crosse. All these have been a true demonstration of your deep commitment to our apostolate. We would like to acknowledge the fundamental role of Fr. Martin, Fr. Kuhn and all the administrative staff at St. John Baptist Parish for accepting and facilitating this project. Indeed, we have perceived your cordial heart enriched with God's love and mercy. The heartfelt gratitude goes to the PCCW, the entire Mission Team Committee and to the Steiners for their dedication, sacrifices and tremendous help in this mission. Similarly, the Deena Hatch Foundation and all groups are highly appreciated for their immense support. We cannot mention all of you by name, but we want you to know that We recognize the physical, moral and financial assistance of each and everyone in realization of this project. We pray that you continue to be blessed with countless blessings of Heaven. For all that you have done for us, there is no fully expression of our thankfulness, but we will continue to embrace you in our prayers. With a great joy and heartfelt gratitude, I am honored to inform you that the project has gone very successfully and the construction work that began in 2014 has almost come to an end. The remaining challenge is on water drainage system and the furnishing of the fencing to a more plausible standard. I believe that our friends who recently visited us have witnessed the fence of the Convent and probably noted some needed works to make it done. (SAM'S NOTE: We have Sent $9000 from Hatch Foundation donation for this Work to be completed this Fall before the rainy season starts!) Once again, thank you so much for evangelizing us through your Fraternal Love, Kindness and Charity. May God reward you with abundance of graces for the intercession of the Most Blessed Virgin Mary, our Mother and Lady Queen of Africa. Gratefully, your friend in Christ Jesus, Sr. Sabina Kabuga.
