The schedule for Masses at St. John’s in 2017 is ready. If you want to have Mass intentions scheduled, please contact the parish office. Please keep in mind that it might happen that a Mass will have to be cancelled now and then depending upon the availability of a priest to cover.
Unbound: Please welcome Fr. David Noone the weekend of Jan. 9th/10th as he comes to St. John’s to speak to us about the work being done by Unbound (previously known as Christian Foundation for Children and Aging) Unbound is a lay Catholic ministry that has served more than 600,000 children and elderly in 20 developing countries since 1981. It is a unique sponsorship program that matches a child, or aging person with a sponsor in the U. S. who cares about and encourages that person. For about a dollar a day, a sponsor helps to provide much-needed nourishing food, medical and dental care, the chance for a child to go to school and much more. All of these efforts are directed at affirming the dignity of every person in their local community. Flyers can be found in the entrances for more information. Folders for children and elderly who are waiting to be sponsored will be available after Masses the weekend Fr. Noone is here for anyone interested in being a sponsor
